Local IT firm, Gnosis has recently announced an exciting partnership with SALT Technology Group Ltd (SALT), who are bringing Microsoft Azure Stack to Bermuda.
The partnership means that Microsoft Azure Cloud services will now be available to companies who wish to use the most sophisticated tools to host data securely in Bermuda and will commence in January 2020.
SALT, who has offices in Bermuda and its head office in the Cayman Islands, will own and operate the Microsoft Azure Stack platform in Bermuda, while Gnosis will perform customer migration and manage ongoing operational support of customer workloads running on the Azure Stack platform.
Microsoft Azure is one of the world’s most trusted Cloud platforms and allows companies to scale resources up or down with ease as well as accessing world class Cloud powered Disaster Recovery and Backup solutions.
The software will allow Bermudian businesses to harness the power of cloud computing, whilst still being able to consider business and technical requirements such as regulation and compliance.
SALT has been granted the right by Microsoft to deploy and operate Azure Stack in Bermuda and is working closely with Gnosis to develop a rollout solution, which will mean that local IT experts will be leveraging Azure Stack to deliver transformational cloud services to Bermuda based companies.

SALT will host an informative Azure Stack Launch event in Hamilton, Bermuda on 3rd December 2019 and Gnosis will begin customer migrations on 1st January 2020.
